Better Living, Thriving Together: Transforming homes and communities through innovation and shared purpose Creating Safer and more comfortable homes Making our neighborhoods safer and more comfortable is our shared goal. • Drive redevelopment of Tsuen Wan, revitalizing old streets • Secure enhanced government subsidies for private building maintenance • Launch "Operation Building Bright 3.0" to support older building upgrades • Accelerate replacement of aging water pipes in Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing • Reform the Water Seepage office with integrated solutions • Continue to push for solutions to the odor problem along the Tsuen Wan waterfront • Provide technical and funding support for smarter estate management Pushing for Better Transport, Better Living Creating a more convenient and comfortable living environment for all. • Strive to finalize the station locations and exits for the "Tsuen King Circuit" and "Northeast Kwai Chung" stations on the Central Rail Link • Prioritize construction of "Tsuen King Circuit" Station with connections to the Tsuen Wan Line • Promote the installation of escalators and elevators in hilly neighborhoods • Accelerate the "Universal Accessibility Projects" for elderly and mobility-impaired residents • Increase smart parking spaces and parking spaces underneath flyovers for parking solutions • Expand electric vehicle chargers for green mobility • Increase bicycle parking spaces, prevent unused bicycles from occupying parking spaces for extended periods to prevent "dead vehicles" Building Dreams, Building Homes Empowering Youth with Hope • Establish a comprehensive youth housing framework to enhance housing ladder • Expand subsidized housing options to make homeownership more achievable for young people Inclusion with Compassion: Ensuring Support for the Vulnerable Groups Ensuring no one is left behind through care and collective action. Developing Silver Economy, Ensuring Dignity and Fulfillment in Aging • Develop integrated elderly housing complexes combining recreation, healthcare, and support services, inspired by HKHS' "Senior Citizen Residences Scheme " and Macau’s “Apartment for Senior Citizens” • Promote market development of stable-yield, innovative retirement financial products • Advance cross-border elderly care in the Greater Bay Area, enabling access to healthcare services through insurance coverage • Establish soft diets standards and promote their permanent inclusion in major restaurants to facilitate community integration for seniors Establishing a Care Register, Supporting Vulnerable Groups • Establish a "Care Register" covering the elderly, persons with disabilities, and individuals with rare diseases to provide prioritized access to services • Increase and regularize resources for "Care teams," including hiring full-time staff to deliver community-based support and referrals • Address caregiver stress, particularly within families caring for elderly and disabled members • Promote community visits and neighborhood exchanges to combat isolation among hidden elders • Tackle youth mental health pressures and substance abuse issues • Integrate mental health education into school curricula and workplace training to foster positive psychological development Precision Welfare: Ensuring Resources Reach Those Truly in Need • Continue combating public housing misuse and refine the well-off tenants policy • Provide one-off assistive technology subsidies for individuals on the "Care Register" to purchase necessary products and improve quality of life • Advocate for reinstating education grant and increasing domestic helper subsidies to support dual-income families and caregivers Dynamic Economy, Diverse Opportunities Creating opportunities for all through innovative and resilient growth. Every inch of land is valuable, every community has potential. •Promote "under-bridge economy," making good use of idle spaces for livelihood and entrepreneurial purposes. •Support local small shops and creative markets, creating new highlights for the community economy. Pets are family members; cities should be designed to be more pet-friendly. •Promote pet-friendly policies to create inclusive communities. •Request the government to study the establishment of public or semi-public pet medical healthcare to reduce the burden on pet owners. Culture is the soul of a city, art is the color of life. •Attract international galleries, auction houses, and art exhibitions to establish presence in Hong Kong •Expedite establishment of criteria and recognition mechanisms for Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage practitioners, with regular funding and training programs. Provide targeted support for arts groups and expand access to distinctive performance venues. •Sports are not just competitions, but also a source of cohesion and economic momentum. •Promote sports development through five key policy objectives: by promoting sports in the community, supporting elite sports, maintaining Hong Kong as a centre for major international sports events, enhancing professionalism, and developing sports as an industry •Accelerate establishment of the Kai Tak Sports Park Advisory Committee, develop "host city economy" and "support economy”. •Conduct needs assessments and develop training strategies for sports related professionals; expand programs to help retired athletes transition into other roles. •Relaunch the "Esports Internship Scheme" and "Esports Industry Facilitation Scheme" funding to cultivate local esports talent
